[1, 2] - She is mentioned in the 1855 edition of Burke's Landed Gentry, but no birthdate is given there. PM's tree gives her birthdate as 1856, which makes sense given that Hugh and Georgina were married in the 3rd quarter of 1853, Eva was born in 1854, and Hugh followed in 1855. Perhaps Burke's was actually published later than 1855. PM gives her name simply as "May", and says that she died in Argentina without having had children. She was 4 years old in 1861, which is consistent wit a birth in 1856, but her age was given as 25 when she married in 1883 which gives a birthdate of 1857 or 1858.

Family Michael SLADE, b. Abt 1851 Marriage 22 May 1883 Episcopal Chapel, San Jose de Flores, Argentina [3, 5] - Flores is now (2006) a part of Buenos Aires, but at the time of Mary's marriage it was mainly composed of country houses from the wealthy people of the City.
Her father's occupation was given as British Consul, though he had died 2 years previous.
Peter Blaney and Georgina Mallet were witnesses.
