Ellen SAUNDERS

-
Name Ellen SAUNDERS [1] Birth Abt 1859 Burtle, Somerset, England [2]
Gender Female Census 3 Apr 1881 2 Hill Street, Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales [3]
- The family were boarders in the household of George Cox, so relationships to Joseph as head of household are not explicitly stated, though still pretty clear. Ellen Mallett and Elizabeth A Mallett, the "visitors", are the wife and daughter of Joseph's son Richard, who was in Derby. Another resident, "Jessie Mallett" has not yet been identified. It seems unlikely that he was the son of Joseph and Mary Ann, but that's how he's been recorded. We might need the birth cert to know for sure.
Census 1891 Risca House, West Street, Bedminster, Somerset, England [2]
- William Bishop, Boarder, Single, male, 18, Coal Miner, born Bridgewater, Somerset, lives with them.
Census 1901 Wycliff, Vicarage Road, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England [4]
