- He is buried in the same grave as his Grandmother in Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby BC. The death date is actually the date of Interment. I did not find his death cert in BC or an obit in either of the Vancouver papers. I thought perhaps he was killed at Dieppe because it occurred during this time period, but he is not listed in the book of remembrance. The name "Bert Raymond" is taken from the cemetery records. "Birty Ray" was on his birth cert.
There are two stones to commemorate him, and one makes reference to "father", so he must have been married and had children.
