The family moved from Limpenhoe, Norfolk, to Herringfleet between 1828and 1831 as Mark was born in Herringfleet in 1831
Maria Farman, aged 18 was a dairy maid and Mary Farman aged 13 was a nurse. They are assumed to be the sisters of Ambrose Farman
who married an apparently unrelated Mary Rushmer, who was born in Reedham.
