In 1871 Edwin and Sarah were living in separate residences, both in Pancras. He was described as married, she as a widow. In 1891 Edwin was apparently living in a workhouse, but the name and location are not known. Sarah was in a workhouse too, possibly the same one as Edwin. but as in 1871, she was listed as a widow, while Edwin was listed as married. Sarah has not been found in 1881, but Edwin was living alone that year and in 1891.
