John Henry is seated, Walter is probably the one on the left, with Fred in the middle. Walter appears to be holding his father John's walking stick. John can be seen with the stick in the family photo taken about 1877.

- John and Walter were both Watchmakers, Louisa (daughter) was a Watchmaker's Assistant, and Frederick was an Apprentice Engineer.
John H and Alice were both married and living in their own dwellings, Mary was with Alice and her family.

- Their address changed, but Walter was still a Watchmaker, working on "Own Account" at home. There were no children listed in 1891 or 1901, so it is perhaps safe to say that they were childless.

- He was described as a "Dealer, Cutlery & Sports Requisites", whatever that was. There were no children. Not sure why they moved to Minehead.
