  Married: It was obviously Digory Mallett's widow Maria who married Richard Pearse. The marriage took place in St Columb Major where Digory was buried, just about 2 years after his death, and in the 1841 census all of Digory and Maria's children, except Ann (already married) and Edwin (dead) were living with Richard and Maria Pearse in St Austell.
