Henry and Ann Mallett (brother and sister) were living on 90 acres of lot 31. 1881 Thomas - 52, Elizabeth - 43, Margaret - 20, James - 18, Caroline - 16, Ellen - 14, Jane - 10, Robert - 8, Elizabeth - 4. Ann Mallett is living with the family, age 48. No occupation listed. 1891 Thomas 62, Elizabeth 52, James 28, Caroline 26, Ellen 25, Jane 21, Robert 18, Elizabeth 12. Margaret has moved away. Ann Mallett no longer lives with the family. Not with Henrietta either. Perhaps she has died. She was alive as late as 1882 when James made up his will, but he didn't die until 1888. What was the dispensation of his will? Was she still alive then? 1901 Thomas 72, Elizabeth 64, James 33, Caroline 36, Lilly 24, T.S. Cuttmore 11. T.S. has been adopted. I found the death notice of a Nora Cudmore in the St. James church register, she died Nov 20 1889. This is the same year T.S. was born. My guess is she's his mother. She lives in "Ratho". I know nothing of the father, except that she is described as a "Labourer's wife" (not a widow), so he must have been around at that time. Thomas has lot 32 con 3, 260 acres owned, 2 houses, 5 barns. | MALLETT, Elizabeth Henrietta (I47)
