    Gender Female
    Alternate Name Norman
    Occupation 03 Apr 1881  [2
    Watchmakers Assistant.
    Reference 1692
    Notes
    • It is not known for certain where Louisa was in 1891, but she doesn't show up under a search for Mallett. She was likely married, and doing a search on Louisa 34 in 1891 turns up two possibilities: Louisa Green or Louisa Norman.

Norman seems to tbe the best bet because they have a son "John M" - the M could well stand for Mallett. Louisa's father would have died fairly recently and they might have named their first born after him.

The family was still there in 1901.

    • Arthur's occupation was Cooper, Madeleine was 1 years old, and John M just 3 months.

There was a second family enumerated at the same address as the Normans:

Francis C De la Rue, 35 (25 stroked out), male, single, a Clerk (at Weighbridge), born St Helier, living with his mother, Ann, age 75, also born St Helier.

These may be relatives of Arthur's, since his mother's name was "La Rae".

John Mallett (sen.) and Louisa (Leaver) Mallett holding the baby Grace Mallett (daughter of John Henry and Mary).

    Seated on the floor:
